Description: Journaling reads: At the last meeting of the Mesquite Paper and Pixels Club, the President, Kathy Legan, demonstrated gift travertine tile coaster sets. Members learned how to decoupage images, prepare tiles, & stamp and finish the gifts; each member received a treat that Kathy had made. These photos show PnP members hard at work on their projects,as they stamped, pastelled, inked and created their gift sets; the final project of the year. Members also participated in an online blog hop that was sponsored by At Joan�s Gardens, where member Priss was a guest designer for the hop sharing techniques for die-cutting flowers with the group.

Description: I used Ramona Brown's gift from the May edition of the PnP Magazine (p. 81) to share some pictures of the final meeting of the Mesquite Papers and Pixels Club (until fall!) Today members participated in a paper and stamping, and gift-design project creating beautiful coasters. Members shared their paper (and pixel) projects, and learned how to participate in a Blog Hop that was going on on May 17th. They planned a SIG (Special Interest Group) where the pixel people will experiment with Anna Aspnes (p.41) Art Play Templates and Brushes in Photoshop. Priss will conduct that workshop on May 31st.

This was our version of a trunk sale"---we put all our stamps into a steamer-size suit case for shoppers to fish through. Description: Four members of the Papers N Pixels, Sun City Chapter went into Las Vegas to participate in the Rubber Stamp and Scrapbooking Exchange; a place where vendors and individuals could sell stamps and scrapbooking merchandise. We made a little money, sold about 100 stamps, and had a FUN excursion and great time together.

Description: I had so much fun creating this card. It's funny how sometimes inspiration comes from many different things. I received this wonderful pink and black polka dot ribbon from Really Reasonable Ribbon (showcased in our March 2012 edition) and I just knew I had to grab a Kenny K digi stamp (interview coming soon), some of the Paper Temptress' lovely shiny, glimmery paper (showcased in the April 2012 edition) and create! I created the saying in photoshop, printed and punched to shape. Mountain Rose Glimmer paper - Paper Temptress Cryogen White Paper for printing the image - Paper Temptress Glorious Ribbons from Really Reasonable Ribbon You can find the ribbon here: http://www.reasonableribbon.com/item.php?item_id=6452 I created this double ribbon bow with the pink polka dot and black satin together in the BowMaker. (available in our Shop at Papers and Pixels). Image was colored with copic markers with help and advice from our wonderful Copic Corner Contributor - Jennifer Dove!

Flower Pot Card--April Magazine Inspirations

Description: I used Fanciful Bouquet, a digistamp, designed by Floppy Latte (Jessica Gill)--page 54 to create this flower pot card. This stamp is available in the new PnP Shop. It's colored with Copics and tied with a bow created with the PnP store's wonderful Bow Maker for the tiniest bow imaginable!-page 59.
